How Qsymia® (phentermine and topiramate extended-release) Capsules CIV Can Help You

Together with a healthy diet and regular activity, Qsymia can help you lose weight and keep it off

Part of a healthy lifestyle commitment

Qsymia works together with changes in your nutrition and physical activity to help you lose weight and maintain your weight loss. When you take Qsymia, you should also try to eat a balanced, low-calorie diet and be more physically active. Based on the LEARN Program for Weight Management, the Q and Me site can help you make both of these lifestyle changes. Importantly, you should discuss a diet and exercise program that is right for you with your healthcare provider.

Do you need a reminder?

It’s very important to take your Qsymia daily in the morning, as instructed by your healthcare provider. It’s also important to keep track of your daily calorie intake, which you can easily do using one of many different food tracker tools available on the Internet or apps available for your smartphone. If you'd like help, we have suggestions for helping you remember to take your medication.
